Before the Lines uses AW3® Nd Yag laser which is the most recognised laser for tattoo removals. As well as tattoos this laser treatment can also treat permanent make up, birthmarks, sunspots and skin pigmentations, sometimes called age spots.

How does tattoo removal work?

Tattoo removal works by delivering a laser to the layer of skin known as the dermis, where the ink from the tattoo was injected and has lived.

As the tattoo particles are too big for the immune system to attack and destroy by itself, the energy from the laser is absorbed by the large ink particles and is shattered into smaller particles that the immune system is able to destroy and remove naturally.

When can I expect to see results from tattoo removal?

From your very first session of laser tattoo removal, you will see the fading of the tattoo. In general, for full removal of the unwanted tattoo,  you will require three to five treatments, with approximately four to six weeks between each treatment.

There are other clinics that offer shorter resting periods, this will be due to the quality of the lasers that are used. Before the lines use the most recognised lasers for laser tattoo removal.
